On Tuesday, I took my sons to visit my mom (she lives about 45 minutes away) and she told me about her favorite Easter traditions from when she was a child and how much she cherished receiving an Easter basket from the magical Easter bunny each year and getting a new outfit for church(she was born in the 40's and is the youngest of 10 children).
I also have fond memories of going to church and then finding my Easter basket at home afterwards. I remember checking the snow to see if I could see the Easter Bunny's paw tracks and one year I found them! :-) My favorite Easter candy was the malted milk balls with the speckled coating to look like eggs.
So now I have 2 little boys, aged 2-1/2 and 1, and of course will continue on the Easter basket tradition.
My question is what are some of your favorite traditions (either you had as a child or as an adult for your children)...and what is your favorite Easter candy?
I hope you all have a blessed Easter weekend with your loved ones...
