I got this great card this week by a fellow TAC demonstrator, Laurie Unger, featuring the Sea Critters June SOTM stamp set. Isn't it beautiful?! I really liked how she created the beach scene by using the shells (which she embossed in silver and cut out) and the layers of paper. The sand is torn kraft cardstock layered on top of each other. The nice crisp white ribbon is layered on top of that. Then layers of vellum on the base of light blue textured cardstock with the flying birds drawn in. Very nice!
Today definately doesn't feel like a sit on the beach kind of day here in Minnesota! Today it has been raining all day and it's pretty chilly out there. But yesterday was a gorgorous day here. I met up with a great friend who has 2 boys about the same age as my boys at the Minnesota Zoo. Here are the boys (my son, Sean is in the orange tshirt) are enjoying the water fountain outside the zoo entrance.
I hope you are having a nice weekend! I plan on staying indoors and stamping the weekend away. I need to get my swaps ready for the upcoming TAC Seminar. There isn't much time left and I haven't started yet!
Need any of the supplies mentioned here? YOu can click the links above to order from my online ordering website or simply give me a call at 651-319-1470 to order or drop me an email. Don't want to pay full price for your stamping supplies, consider hosting a catalog party or local stamping workshop or sign up to be a TAC Angel and receive all your supplies at a discount!
