Watercoloring Fun Frogs

I'm just loving the July Vintage Stamp set from TAC (vintage means it is a discontinued stamp set from a previous TAC catalog, brought back for a limited time!). I made this card for my Senior Angel patient (similar to ChemoAngels but you send cards and gifts to a senior). My senior loves frogs so I HAD to make her a card using this stamp set of course.


For my inspiration, I based the colors on the SPCC Color Challenge for this week! I stamped the darling frogs on white cardstock and colored in using my Prismacolor watercolor pencils and blended with my Tombow Blender pen (still learning how to color! LOL).







I cut the frogs out with my Kai scissors and layered on a piece of corrugated cardboard (from my Starbucks coffee! LOL I saved them from Seminar and thank you Laurie for your inspiration to get it out and use it! LOL). I used a pop dot to add a little pop!

I stamped the small flower image from the Frog stamp set in black on the melon colored cardstock. You can't tell on the picture but I used the new Stardust Clear Gelly Pen to add sparkle to the flowers and the frog. I LOVE this pen! We got them at Seminar and if you like a little sparkle (and who doesn't!?) you have to get them! I layered a piece of fabric ribbon I got from Janelle at ScrapWithStyle which was tied in a knot and layered on a piece of the sea blue cardstock. All my cardstock I used is from our Brights Cardstock Stack.
