This is my first Halloween with a child in school (preschool but it's still school! LOL)..so I decided to make a little Halloween treat pail for the 2 awesome teachers at Sean's preschool (I do not know how they do it! LOL)...I found these pails at the dollar section of Target. This treat bucket (pail or whatever) is a great project to do for any special occasion and your kids can help you with it (if they don't eat all the candy first!).
So I'm always on the lookout at Target, the dollar store, or wherever for little treat holders like this.
I used one of the stamps from the Hostess Set, Label Lingo, which is an awesome set with tons of great sayings for every occasion. (if you would like to earn this set as a hostess, ask me how!) I stamped the saying in black on orange cardstock and layered on a piece of black cardstock, which I corrugated, using the Corru-gator. I added some glitzy eyes to the Boo part (well they aren't eyes but I think they look like eyes) that I got from an Etsy shop, Scrap With Style.
I tied ribbon around the pail and used my fave glue dots to make the ribbon stay in place and to keep the saying in place as well. The stuff is awesome! Then just filled with some candies in a clear bag and tied it off with an orange organza ribbon.
I had my son give them to his teachers today and he was so cute about it.

I have to share a few pics of my boys playing on the table I set up for them in my studio so they can color with mom :-) Of course, my little guy, Alex, has his pencil the wrong way. :-)
I hope you and your family have a fun Trick or Treat night!
P.S. Don't forget to take advantage of the October specials from TAC (they are almost over!) And there are these specials that are for some discontinued products and only available until supplies last! Click here to view those specials.
